Tucked within Polaris’ recent unveiling of its 2022 model year RANGER, RZR, GENERAL, and Sportsman off-road vehicle lineups was plenty of exciting news about the all-new RANGER SP 570 family of UTVs. Designed with farmers, ranchers, hunters, and landowners in mind, the midsize RANGER SP 570 lineup offers two-seat and CREW (four to six passengers) models available in standard and premium trims. The CREW model provides an upgraded 575-cca battery, 660-watt stator, and a Polaris Pulse Electrical system that combine to provide enhanced charging and ability to run accessories (more on these in a moment).

    The Perfect Fit

The 2022 RANGER SP 570 lineup includes the RANGER SP 570, the RANGER SP 570 NorthStar Edition, the RANGER CREW SP 570, and the RANGER CREW SP 570 NorthStar Edition. NorthStar Edition RANGERs come equipped with a Pro Shield cab system that Polaris says is the only one of its kind in the RANGER’s class; it features all-new doors, full crank-down windows, factory-installed heating, and a Polaris HD 3,500-pound (1,588-kilogram) winch. Polaris says it designed the entire SP 570 family from the ground up with rider-inspired features in mind.

“Our customers lead a busy lifestyle, and they don’t want to compromise on the two things they care about most: doing good quality work and enjoying time with the family,” says Chris Judson, Polaris vice president of RANGER, GENERAL, and ATV. “The RANGER SP 570 was designed so they don’t have to make these tradeoffs; it’s great for work, fun to ride, and the perfect fit.”

    What’s New

The 2022 RANGER SP 570 comes equipped with a Prostar 570 44-hoursepower (32.8-kilowatt) engine, boasts a 1,500-lb (680-kg) towing capacity, and has a compact 56-inch (142.2-centimeter) width that helps it work in tight spaces. Polaris says customers can also expect an improved turning radius, best-in-class suspension travel, added storage, and a best-in-class cargo box that provides 30% more space than the previous model. The redesigned interior packs all-new seats with an ergonomically enhanced seating position, and the vehicle’s 25-inch (63.5-cm) tires provides an extra inch of ground clearance for a total of 11 in. (30 cm).

    Accessories For Days

Polaris is making new Landowner, Farm, Hunt, and Tail accessory packages available to make it easier for buyers to customize the RANGER SP 570 to their needs. The manufacturer says there are 40 new accessories available for the side-by-side family, including Pro Shield cab components, brush guards, rock guards, a wireless JBL Trail 4.0 audio system, a Lock & Ride bed extender/divider, and a 7-inch display with integrated RIDE COMMAND navigation technology.
