Indian Motorcycle Unveils Limited-Run, Custom-Inspired Roadmaster Elite Touring Bike
Indian Motorcycle will unleash the limited-edition 2024 Roadmaster Elite touring motorcycle this spring with loads of premium features and an eye-popping tri-tone paint scheme. The paint design incorporates the Indian Motorcycle Red color the company debuted in 1904. The manufacturer will produce 350 units of the bike, which boasts jaw-dropping, wheel-to-wheel custom-inspired styling.
Exclusive To The Elite
Those lucky enough to acquire the bike will have a constant and prominent reminder of their fortune in the form of exclusive Elite badging. The badging includes an individually numbered center console with a silhouette of the 1904 Indian Camelback, the initial model to sport Indian Motorcycle Red paint.
High-End Paint
Indian Motorcycle says the bike’s undeniably vibrant tri-tone paint scheme features Indian Motorcycle Red Candy, Dark Indian Motorcycle Red Candy, and Black Candy colors, and that its fully gloss black painted dash contributes to its “menacing” blacked-out style.
Indian also partnered with well-known custom paint shops Gunslinger Custom Paint and Custom Painted Vehicles to apply hand-painted Championship Gold pinstripes, with each bike requiring over 24 hours to complete.
Premium Features
A laundry list of high-quality features provides the Roadmaster Elite with what Indian Motorcycle says are “world-class” touring capabilities. The driver and passenger will enjoy spacious, polished floorboards, a color-matched and stitched heated and cooled seat, passenger armrests, and a tinted flare windshield for advanced wind protection while eating up the miles.
Also worth noting are the 12 speakers spread across the front fairing, saddlebags, and touring trunk. Each one pumps out PowerBand Audio with Bass Boost sound while also emitting attention-grabbing UnderGlow styling.
The new Roadmaster Elite boasts Pathfinder auxiliary LED lights in the saddlebags, backlit switch cubes that simplify using hand controls at night, and a Pathfinder adaptive LED headlight. The latter employs technology that monitors the bike’s lean angle to optimize its illumination of the road.
Performance Features
The Indian Motorcycle Roadmaster Elite’s air-cooled Thunderstroke 116-cc V-Twin engine generates 126 pounds-foot (171 newton-meters) of torque. A 5.5-gallon (21-liter) tank supplies the power plant with fuel. The bike has a ready-to-roll weight of 890 pounds (403 kilograms) and a 26.5-inch (673-millimeter) seat height.
The front suspension incorporates a telescopic fork with 4.7 in. (119 mm) of travel. The air-adjustable single-shock rear suspension provides 4.5 in. (114 mm) of travel. The bike tires wrap around 10-spoke Precision Machined wheels with an all-new machine pattern.
