2023 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy 114 Available In 120th Anniversary Commemorative Edition

The commemorative design celebrating Harley-Davidson’s 120th anniversary will be available on 3,000 Fat Boy 114 motorcycles, almost double the number of Harley’s other limited-edition anniversary models. Each 2023 Fat Boy 114 Anniversary is given the Motor Company’s classic paneled paint scheme showcasing the Heirloom Red Fade finish, which outlines each of the gleaming panels with a bright-red pinstripe surrounded by a dark Midnight Crimson fade. The limited-edition models also include the Art Deco eagle tank medallion and the gold embroidered Harley-Davidson logo.

Known for its “steamroller stance,” the 2023 Fat Boy 114 includes broad Michelin Scorcher 11 tires—a 9.4-inch (240-millimeter)-wide rear tire and a 6.3-in. (160-mm)-wide tire in the front. The front wheel has a four-piston fixed brake caliper while the rear carries a two-piston floating caliper. The bike’s wide front posture is further cemented with inverted front fork boasting 49 mm (1.9 in.) of travel and triple clamps, while the high-performance front suspension delivers 130 mm(5.1 in.) of travel for a more comfortable, controlled ride. On the rear of the bike, Harley-Davidson uses an adjustable mono-shock rear suspension with 86 mm (3.4 in.) of travel, providing the comfort of a soft tail yet maintaining the classic hard tail lines. The bike’s curb weight is 699 pounds (317 kilograms).

Milwaukee-Eight Power

The 2023 Fat Boy 114 is built around a 114-cubic-inch (1,868-cc) Milwaukee-Eight engine producing 119 pounds-foot (161 newton-meters) of torque at 3,000 rpm. At 4,750 rpm, Harley-Davidson rates the engine for 94 horsepower (70 kilowatts). A six-speed Cruise Drive transmission provides smooth throttle response, and electronic cruise control is now standard on the Fat Boy.
