Polaris Teams With Troy Lee Designs For Limited-Edition RZR Pro R & RZR 200 EFI Side-By-Sides
Polaris and Troy Lee Designs (TLD) have joined forces on all-new, limited-edition Polaris RZR Pro R and RZR 200 EFI (electronic fuel injection) off-road side-by-sides for 2023. Polaris will make available roughly 1,000 units each of the two-seat RZR Pro R, four-seat Pro R 4, and two-seat RZR 200 EFI Troy Lee Designs Edition UTVs. The latter is designed for youth riders age 10 years or older and includes Ride Control safety features such as digital speed limiting, PIN code starting, geofencing, and helmet-aware technology. The RZR Pro R uses the top-tier Ultimate trim as a foundation and includes a 2.0-liter engine rated for 225 horsepower (168 kilowatts).
“We’re thrilled to continue our partnership with Troy Lee Designs, offering two limited-edition RZRs that powerfully demonstrate our shared passion for off-roading and our commitment to premium style, performance, and safety,” says Reid Wilson, Polaris Off Road Recreation vice president. “This year, we selected the RZR Pro R and RZR 200 models for the simple fact that they are at the top of their class—the Pro R for its unmatched power and strength, and the RZR 200 for its unique blend of performance and safety features, ideal for unlocking the excitement of off-roading for the next generation of riders.”
The Troy Lee Effect
Polaris first collaborated with TLD last year on a special Polaris General adventure side-by-side edition. Polaris says the limited-edition RZR models allow off-roaders to now take their self-expression to the next level. The RZR Pro R includes a TLD graphics package with electric blue and orange retro styling, a TLD numbered badge, custom-stitched seats, and numerous painted color-matched factory accessories. The RZR 200 EFI boasts matching interior and exterior TLD graphics and painted components, including a rollover protection system (ROPS) and springs.
“The RZR Pro R and RZR 200 are both an incredible design canvas,” says Troy Lee. “It’s truly an honor to design our very own RZR Pro R and RZR 200, the ultimate proof points for Polaris’ engineering prowess and commitment to driving the side-by-side industry forward.”
The RZR Pro R & RZR 200 EFI
The Pro R comes with a welded one-piece cage, a solid-box chassis and a stronger driveline, and an all-new Max-Link suspension. The included adaptive Dynamix DV suspension control system continuously adjusts the shocks on the fly and provides selectable Comfort, Rock, Track, and Baja modes. The Pro R drives on Pro Armor 5302 Beadlock wheels and 32x10-15 Maxxis Rampage Fury tires. To provide added protection, Front and rear pre-runner bumpers and low-profile rock sliders are included.
The RZR 200 EFI is powered by a youth- friendly 180-cc EFI engine. Parents can adjust the seat and steering wheel as their youngsters can grow into the UTV. Hard doors and safety nets are also included for added layers of protection. There’s also an independent rear suspension with 7 inches (178 millimeters) of travel for a smoother ride, 10 in. (254 mm) of ground clearance, and 24-in. (61-cm) tires that are right at home on a variety of terrain types.
