Get FinancingPolaris Slingshot Lineup Adds Factory Accessory Options & Emphasizes Personalization For 2023
Polaris has scads of upgrades on tap for its three-wheeled Slingshot motor vehicle lineup for 2023 that it says take customers’ personalization abilities to a new level. In addition to variously available paint schemes like Pacific Teal, Lime Shadow, and Miami Blue Fade, Polaris has added factory-direct RAM X-Grip Phone Mount and Excursion Rearview Mirror accessories based on customer feedback. The 2023 lineup includes Slingshot S, S with Technology Package 1, SL, SLR, and R models. Each offers plenty of customizations, but it’s worth noting the Technology Package 1 model includes vehicle security package and Ripper Series Clear Wind Deflector upgrades, while the lineup-topping R gains a Vented Sport Hood and includes such premium features as a multi-tone paint scheme.
“Whether you’re looking to elevate your everyday, escape on an epic adventure, or utilize the three-wheel canvas for self-expression, the 2023 Polaris Slingshot delivers limitless possibilities to design your perfect ride,” says Chris Sergeant, Polaris Slingshot vice president. “Each year, we continue to evolve the lineup by listening to our riders, and this year is another example of thoughtful additions and enhancements that answer the call and serve our passionate owners.”
Customizations Aplenty
Customers have more than 50 new premium painted accessories available for 2023 to personalize their Slingshot, Polaris says. Examples include a Slingshade top, a rear fender, exterior painted accents, a belt guard, and a front grille. The Slingshade, an available upgrade for all 2023 models, includes vertical-opening T-Top panels with tinted windows, uses friction-hinge technology, and includes automotive-grade and color-matched finishes.
Polaris also points out such accessory upgrade options as the Vented Sport Hood, which is available in 16 colors and enhances aerodynamics and cockpit airflow, and a removable, canvas Excursion Top. Others worth noting include thermoelectric heated and cooled seats, premium Brembo brakes, and an XKGlow interior LED lighting system that can be synchronized to music via the Slingshot app. For the 100-watt Rockford Fosgate audio system, Polaris integrates a sound-enhancing Stage 3 Roll Hoop Audio Kit into each seat’s headrest. An infotainment system with 7-inch Ride Command touchscreen provides Bluetooth and USB smartphone connectivity, Apple CarPlay, key vehicle data, and more.
