Honda Reveals New Updated Pioneer 700 Line For 2023, Debuts New Model
Honda says its Pioneer 700 UTVs can do it all, from rugged ranch work to trail-riding fun. The midsize recreation and utility side-by-side has been updated for 2023 for enhanced performance and comfort. The Pioneer 700 is available in two- and four-seat configurations with three trim level options, standard, Deluxe, and the all-new Forest version. The Pioneer 700 Forest comes with a phantom camo paint job, while the deluxe offers a choice of red or reactor blue and the standard is available in either olive or black.
What’s New
Upgrades for 2023 include a new dash, new instruments, and new electric power steering. The new instrument panel has a larger LCD screen with a new background color so it’s easier to read, along with a Trip B function, a battery-voltage readout, and a tachometer array. The steering wheel now tilts to ease entry and exit from the vehicle. The new electric power steering system has a next-generation brushless motor and a new return-to-center function.
The 2023 line also has more storage with a 9.6-liter glovebox, a secure cargo net, and larger cupholders. The Deluxe and Forest models also come standard with new cargo bed lights, which are an available option on the Standard model.
About The Pioneer 700 Series
Each vehicle is powered by 675-cc liquid-cooled engine that provides enough power for a towing capacity of 1,500 pounds (680 kilograms) and a 1,000-lb (454-kg) cargo payload. The engine and exhaust system are rubber-mounted to protect against excessive vibration. The contoured bench seat and independent double wishbone front suspension provide a comfortable ride, and the tilting bed makes it easy to quickly offload bulk material and other payloads.
The Deluxe and Forest trim levels come with automatic and manual modes that drivers can switch between, even on the fly, and paddle shifters mounted on the steering column.
