Can-Am Commander XT-P Wins 2021 Good Design Award
Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP) has won 2021 Good Design Awards for three of its products, including the Can-Am Commander XT-P UTV, one of five models in the Commander lineup. BRP’s other 2021 Good Design Awards came for its Sea-Doo RXP-X and LinQ Modular box. In the last two years, BRP has won more than 25 international design awards for its products.
“Good Design is based on the ideals of a design process that embodies product excellence and endurance and strong public identity,” says Denys Lapointe, BRP senior vice president of design, innovation, and creative services. “It is a perfect fit with our design philosophy and the way we approach our products.”
The Makings Of A Good Design
The annual Good Design Awards honors industrial and graphical designers and manufacturers from roughly 50 nations for “singular achievements in producing hallmarks of contemporary design.” Founded in 1950, the program is presented by The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design and Metropolitan Arts Press Ltd. Of the Can-Am Commander XT-P, Good Design says the UTV offers a “spirited, sporty ride that allows the rider to push their limits while providing the storage and utility of a working vehicle.”
