Honda Introduces Special Edition 2021 Talon Side-By-Sides Pre-Equipped With Popular Accessories
Honda’s new Special Edition models for the 2021 Talon side-by-sides are built for drivers who demand more. These SE vehicles are outfitted with components that up to now could only be added after the initial purchase, including a front bumper, winch kit, vented windscreen, light assembly, rear-view mirror, and door lowers. Honda says the pre-installed accessories improve driver and passenger comfort and convenience, making long rides even more fun. The 2021 SE Talon versions include the Talon 1000R SE ($26,009 MSRP) and Talon 1000X-4 SE ($26,999 MSRP) and will be available in summer 2021.
2021 SE Two-Seater
The Talon 1000R SE delivers performance by way of its 999-cc, liquid-cooled, four-valve Unicam engine paired with Honda’s six-speed, automatic Dual Clutch transmission. The latter features a pair of automatic modes (Drive and Sport) in addition to the Manual mode. The 68.4-inch (1,737-millimeter)-wide Talon 1000R is built for bump absorption and high-speed tracking, thanks in part to its long, 17.7- and 20.1-in. (450- and 510-mm) front and rear suspension travel. The Talon 1000R SE also features the semi-active electronic FOX Live Valve suspension that uses sensor data to adjust all four shocks up to 16 times per second.
Special Edition Seating For Four
The four-seat Talon 1000X-4 SE shares many of the key features found on the two-seat 1000R SE, including the FOX Live Valve electronic suspension, a 999-cc Unicam engine, and a Dual Clutch Transmission. This flagship side-by-side also comes standard with a Launch Mode for full-throttle acceleration off the line. The stadium seating arrangement situates the rear seats inboard and higher than the front seats to let passengers enjoy more of the view.
