Polaris Updates Timbersled Snow Bike Systems For 2022
Polaris’ Timbersled snow bike systems make it possible to convert a dirt bike to a snow bike, and with the 2022 lineup, Polaris set out to give riders more options to fit different riding styles. The 2022 bike conversion lineup includes the new RIOT 3, a kit built for deep snow, as well as several new trim levels and options that let riders customize Timbersled systems based on their preferred terrain, riding style, and equipment.
RIOT 3
The Timbersled RIOT 3 features a 129-inch (327-centimeter) track featuring a 3-in (7.62-cm) lug height, which helps riders take on both deeper and steeper terrain. The RIOT 3’s track also provides increased floatation and traction in deeper snow to improve performance. IBP QS3 shocks are available from FOX Racing and feature an Internal Bypass (IBP) design that is position-sensitive, reacting to where the shock is in the stroke. The position sensitivity is said to deliver a smooth ride over stutter bumps and rough terrain while maintaining bottom-out resistance for big hits and drops.
New Trim Levels
For 2022, Timbersled snow bike systems will be available in three trim levels: PRO, Premium, and Sport. Polaris says PRO is the most exclusive, the best of the best—and is available only during the SnowCheck pre-order period. The PRO package comes with the new, high-performance Fox IBP QS3 shocks and features lightweight driveline components developed on the racetrack for ultimate throttle response. The Premium trim level from Timbersled features Fox QS3 clicker shocks with easy, three-click compression adjustment and is featured on both ARO and RIOT models. The Sport trim features rebuildable, proven Timbersled IFP shocks and is available on select ARO and RIOT models.
