2020 Indian Scout Bobber Sixty Has Classic, Stripped-Down Style
Indian Motorcycle touts the 2020 Indian Scout Bobber Sixty as a lighter-weight, less-expensive, and 999cc (60 cubic-inch, 78-horsepower/58-kilowatt) version of the company’s popular Scout Bobber. Starting at $8,999, the Scout Bobber Sixty also features a minimalistic, all-black aesthetic that Indian Motorcycle calls “mean, old-school styling,” highlighted by the chopped rear fender, low-slung bobber-style seat, and side-mounted license plate.
Where The Sixty Is Stripped-Down
The 2020 Indian Scout Bobber, by comparison, is powered by a 1,133cc, 69 cubic-inch, 100 hp (75 kW) engine and starts at $10,999. The Scout Bobber is also 24 pounds heavier at 572 pounds (259 kilograms) with a full tank of fuel—than the 548-lb (249-kg) Scout Bobber Sixty. And although it comes in at $2,000 less than its big brother, Indian says the Scout Bobber Sixty still serves up the company’s premium-quality craftsmanship. “We’re proud to provide such a dynamic offering at a price point that makes owning an Indian Motorcycle extremely attainable to an even wider range of riders,” says Indian Motorcycle Vice President Reid Wilson.
A Look Of Its Own
The 2020 Scout Bobber Sixty features a blacked-out engine, a modern tank badge, perch mount mirrors, a stripped down headlight, an all-black seat, and all-new five-spoke black wheels. Indian gives riders the choice of Thunder Black and Thunder Black Smoke paint with ABS and non-ABS versions. Riders can also customize their Scout Bobber Sixty by selecting from more than 140 authentic Indian Motorcycle accessories.
