North Carolina Company Uses Versatile Toolcat 5600 For All-Around Subcontractor Work
Chonzie, Inc., based in Jackson County, North Carolina, takes advantage of the Bobcat Toolcat 5600 utility vehicle to perform a variety of jobs, including grading, road paving, landscaping, and snow removal, among others, according to a recent post from Bobcat. Chonzie McMahan, the company’s owner, became the subcontractor for a housing subidivision with 250 homes in Buncombe County, North Carolina, and decided to take part in a Toolcat 5600 demo, Bobcat says. Thanks to Toolcat’s many available attachments, including buckets, salt and sand spreaders, pallet forks, and snow blades, the UTV is now the primary vehicle in the Chonzie fleet.
It Only Does Everything
“I was surprised by the versatility of the Toolcat machine. Nobody else has anything like it,” says McMahan. “It’s like having a skid-steer loader, UTV, and a miniature dump truck in one machine. I have an equipment fleet that includes larger machines like a dozer and an articulated dump truck, but the true workhorse is the Toolcat 5600. It runs every single day and is one of the best purchases I’ve made.”
