Yamaha Unleashes The Wolverine X2
Yamaha Motor Company, an Iwata, Shizuoka, Japan-based manufacturer of motorcycles, marine products, and other motorized equipment, just introduced its new Wolverine X2 Recreational Off-highway Vehicle (ROV) to the North American market.
Smaller, But No Less Fun
With the Wolverine X2, Yamaha Motor plans to capitalize on the rapidly growing popularity of this recreational class of off-road machines. The Yamaha Motor Manufacturing Corporation of America will be manufacturing this 2-seater in the U.S., and it is based on the wildly-popular 4-seater Wolverine X4, which the company launched in 2017.
Uncage The Beast
Yamaha built the Wolverine X2 to appeal to off-road driving enthusiasts and avid hunters. Highlights of the machine include superb driving performance, as well as refined driver and passenger comfort, and a high degree of reliability. By tapping into the existing line of fully compatible Wolverine Series accessories, customers can get the X2 fitted with some useful accessories, such as an off-road navigation system.
Under the hood you’ll find a fuel-efficient 847-cubic-centimeter 2-cylinder engine that is capable of producing low speed torque and rocket-like throttle response. The narrow, lightweight frame lets you navigate dense wooded areas with ease, and the large storage area behind the seats features a one-handed tailgate for ease-of-access. Yamaha reminds us that the Wolverine X2 is not licensed for use on public roads.
If you’re in the market for new or used Yamaha utility vehicles, or any used Yamaha equipment, you’ll find a wide selection for sale on MotorSportsUniverse.com.
