Can-Am 2019 ATVs & Side-By-Sides
BRP (Bombardier Recreational Products) Inc., a Valcourt, Quebec,-based manufacturer of various types of motorsports vehicles, has overhauled its model year 2019 Can-Am ATVs and side-by-side vehicles to offer more functionality, better performance, an improved riding experience, and more.
Upgraded ATVs
The 2019 Can-Am Outlander 1000R and Renegade 1000R 4x4 ATVs are equipped with the powerful 91-horsepower (68-kilowatt) Rotax V-Twin engine, which BRP characterizes as “the most powerful production ATV engine ever.” Riders will appreciate the more responsive intelligent Throttle Control (iTC) system designed to tune the power and throttle response to riding conditions. These models also feature a completely new suspension and a revamped body styling. The Can-Am Outlander 650 and 850 ATVs now feature a precision-tuned suspension for improved rider comfort, wider frames, and redesigned aesthetics.
Revised Side-By-Sides
The 2019 Can-Am Defender utility-recreation side-by-sides are even more capable than ever, as well. The Defender X mr features higher ground clearance and longer suspension travel, as well as a new lockable rear differential for easily handling, even the roughest terrain. The Maverick X3 and Maverick X3 MAX X-packages come with a Smart-Lok drive train, which supports a lockable on-the-fly front differential with electronically controlled automatic modes that let the rider tune the ride for the best traction in any scenario. Other new features for Can-Am’s X3 side-by-sides include high-torque tri-mode Dynamic Power Steering, as well as a number of comfort and reliability tweaks.
