Indian Motorcycle Unveils New Accessories For Its FTR 1200 Lineup Of Motorcycles

Indian Motorcycle recently revealed over 40 new accessories and four accessory collections for its line of FTR 1200 motorcycles at the International Motorcycle and Accessories Exhibition (EICMA) in Milan, Italy, earlier this November. The new accessories will be available starting in the spring of 2019, but you can start building your own FTR 1200 using the company’s configurator and get a look at the collections right now.

“In its stock form, the FTR 1200 is a beautifully designed flat track-inspired street bike with immense opportunity for personalization and customization,” says Reid Wilson, senior director if marketing and planning for Indian Motorcycle. “The new accessory lineup significantly elevates the FTR 1200 platform. Riders can completely restyle the look and feel of the bike to better represent their riding style through one of our four collections or by mixing and matching parts to create something truly one-of-a-kind.”

Curated Collections

One accessory package is the Tracker collection. It features an Akrapovič high-mount slip-on exhaust, Tracker seat and base cowl, side number plates, and a high license plate mount, all of which harken back to the Indian FTR750 flat track racing bike. The Rally collection adds a set of aluminum spoke wheels, a glossy pearl white tank cover, aviator seat, mudguards in the front and rear, and a ProTaper Rally Handlebar. The Sport introduces several carbon fiber elements, including the seat cowl, tank cover, and mudguard as well an Akrapovič low mount slip-on exhaust. And the Tour collection features messenger bag, side bag rack, luggage rack, tank bag, and windshield.

The Indian FTR 1200 and FTR 1200 S each have 1,203cc V-Twin engines that produce 120 horsepower and 85 pounds-foot (115 newton-meters) of torque. Standard features include Dunlop street tires with flat track treads, Brembo brakes with an anti-lock brake system, and LED lights. The FTR 1200 S adds a 4.3-inch (109-millimeter) Ride Command LCD touchscreen display, front and rear piggyback suspensions, and more.
