All-New 4-Passenger Kawasaki Teryx KRX4 1000 Side-By-Sides Arriving Soon

Kawasaki’s 2023 Teryx KRX4 1000 side-by-sides, which include the 1000 SE, 1000 eS, and 1000 eS Special Edition models, will arrive soon. Compared to last year’s Teryx KRX4 1000 models, the sporty new side-by-sides offer increased passenger space to more comfortably accommodate four adults. They also come equipped with high-back bucket seats with three-point seatbelts, lever-adjustable driver and front-passenger seats, under-seat storage, dashboard storage compartments, and a 12-volt DC power outlet to power your digital device during rides.

High-Powered Adventures

Teryx KRX4 1000 side-by-sides are powered by a 999-cc parallel-twin engine Kawasaki tuned for performance in both high- and low-speed operation. Drivers can select from a variety of Full Power and Low Power modes to fit various terrain types and personal preferences, and can switch between two- and four-wheel drive and activate the front differential lock as needed. Precision acceleration is delivered by the side-by-sides’ Continuously Variable Transmission.

Designed To Off-Road

Kawasaki gave the Teryx KRX4 1000 an underbody shaped like a boat’s hull; this curved shape, covered with plastic and steel skid plate, gives the side-by-side in excess of 14 inches (35.5 centimeters) of ground clearance, and the large-diameter A-arms and trailing arms work with the vehicle’s Fox 2.5 Podium LSC shock absorbers to soak up the bumps. The 31-in. (78.7-cm) Maxxis Carnivore tires bear a grippy off-road tread pattern to operate on rocky terrain and eight-ply construction for puncture resistance.

All In The Family

Kawasaki offers the all-new KRX4 1000 in three models that cater to a range of budgets and factory option preferences. The 1000 eS, for instance, adds Fox 2.5 Live Valve bypass shocks and Kawasaki’s Electronic Control Suspension with selectable damping control. The Special Edition model comes with a high-grade Hifonics audio system, a Warn VRX 45 winch, and a KQR sport roof. The base 1000 SE, however, includes many of the Kawasaki’s latest high-end, off-road amenities.
