Polaris Rocks The Trail With RZR Pro XP Rockford Fosgate Limited Edition Side-By-Sides
Polaris has broken the sound barrier, so to speak, with its latest RZR Pro XP side-by-side. The new RZR Pro XP Rockford Fosgate Limited Edition comes with up to 800 watts of audio power “so you can clearly hear your music through your helmet while riding at higher speeds,” the company says.
“Having a soundtrack delivered with crystal clarity and power takes the adventure to an entirely different level,” says Polaris Off-Road President Steve Menneto. “Our customers have an appetite for bigger, better sound, and who better than our partners at Rockford Fosgate to help us deliver the industry’s highest-level audio in a vehicle that looks and performs as good as it sounds.”
The RZR Pro XP Rockford Fosgate LE will hit dealerships in early April. It’s available in two-seat and four-seat configurations and in two tiers of performance and features.
Good Sportsmanship
The Sport version of the new RZR Pro XP comes with Stage 1 Rockford Fosgate audio and a Vogue Silver color scheme. Starting off in the front, the Sport LE features a weather-resistant 100-watt RMS amplifier, a PMX-P2 head unit with an AM/FM antenna, 50-watt component speakers, and 1-inch (25.4-millimeter) tweeters. Out back is a rugged 200-watt RMS amp and two more 50-watt speakers. The 181-horsepower (135-kilowatt) side-by-side has a 64-in. (1,625-mm) width and all-wheel drive.
Ultimate UTV Audio
The RZR Pro XP Ultimate Rockford Fosgate LE is identifiable by its custom Radar Blue hue, although you’ll probably hear it coming before you see it. Boasting the industry’s most powerful Stage 4 factory audio system, the Ultimate delivers 800 watts of sheer power. The sound system consists of a 400-watt, 10-in. subwoofer, four 100-watt speakers, and stainless-steel tweeters, and automatically adjusts the volume as you accelerate and decelerate.
The Ultimate trim level also packs plenty of visual pizazz. Its speakers are backlit by blue LEDs, while other accent lighting spices up the interior of the UTV. The rear speaker grilles are made of stainless steel, and the vehicle’s roll cage is color-matched to its wild paint and graphics.
The Ultimate RZR Pro XP also sports six-point retractable harnesses for safety and a telescoping steering wheel for driver comfort. Polaris’s DYNAMIX 2.0 active suspension automatically keeps you in control on all types of terrain. Finally, the RIDE COMMAND feature provides GPS route planning, Group Ride technology to keep track of other riders in your group, and more.
