Toro recently announced that its latest utility vehicle, the Workman GTX Lithium Ion Lifted, and a new steel bed accessory are now available for purchase. The new vehicle is part of the Workman GTX lineup that was recently upgraded for increased comfort and reduced noise and maintenance requirements.
About The Workman GTX Lithium Ion Lifted
The Workman GTX Lithium Ion Lifted has an additional 3 inches (7.6 centimeters) of ground clearance compared to previous Workman GTX models to ease travel over uneven areas. The vehicle’s 12-in. (30.5-cm) wheels and 22-in. (55.9 cm) tires protect turf through even weight distribution and a tread pattern design specifically for driving over turf. The lithium-ion power pack delivers 15% more run time than the GTX-E lead acid model and the lithium-ion power packs are maintenance-free, saving money in the long run. The battery can be recharged using the high-efficiency charger on board and can connect to any standard power outlet.
Multiple Options
Operators have an option of 4- or 6-foot (1.2- or 1.8-meter) flatbeds, along with fold-down side rails or solid sides and an electric bed lift kit. There is also an option for a medical bed kit. The Workman GTX Lithium Ion Lifted comes in two- or four-seat configurations with bench or bucket seats and a fold-down rear-facing seat that converts to a flatbed. Weather protection can also be added with a canopy with optional windshield or a ROPS-certified cab and door kit.
About The New Steel Bed
The new steel bed is available on all current and former GTX models and has the same 800-pound (363-kilogram) capacity as the poly bed and 13.3 cubic feet (0.38 cubic meters) of space. Its water-resistant polyurea bed coating dampens sound and vibration and provides environmental protection.
