Harley-Davidson Announces 2021 CVO Street Glide & Street Glide Special

Harley-Davidson’s 2021 touring motorcycles come with several new features that enhance their long-haul capabilities. The CVO Street Glide and Street Glide Special are two of the touring bikes with the new technology and exclusive components, which include all-new Harley-Davidson Audio powered by Rockford Fosgate and RDRS Safety Enhancements (formerly known simply as “RDRS”). The complete suite of rider safety features includes Cornering Enhanced Electronic Linked Braking, the Cornering Enhanced Antilock Braking System, the Cornering Enhanced Traction Control System, a Drag-Torque Slip Control System, Vehicle Hold Control, and the Tire Pressure Monitoring System.

CVO Street Glide

The Custom Vehicle Operations (CVO) Street Glide boasts the muscular Milwaukee-Eight 117 V-Twin engine with 4.075-inch bore, 4.5-in. stroke, and a displacement of 117 cubic inches (1,923 cc). The Motor Company says the Milwaukee-Eight 117 is the most powerful V-Twin engine every offered from the Harley-Davidson factory. The touring motorcycle’s comfort is supported by a high-performance, dual-bending valve front and emulsion rear suspension. The latter offers hand-adjustable pre-load controls. The Fugitive cast-aluminum wheels are finished in a gloss black or satin, and riders can also customize the bike from fender to fender.

Street Glide Special

The Street Glide Special has a new two-tone paint option with the choice of a blacked-out or bright-chrome styling treatment. Street Glide Special models are also equipped with a new Daymaker LED headlamp, as well as a new low-profile engine guard that emphasizes their muscular profiles. The included Boom! Box GTS infotainment system now supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay applications, so a wired mobile device connection allows riders to use either app to access media, streaming services, communication, and navigation on the road while minimizing distractions.
