Hammerhead Off-Road has been in business in the United States since 2003 and is headquartered in the Dallas-Fort Worth area in Flower Mound, Texas. The company operates out of a 40,000-square-foot distribution facility, where it stores its parts and vehicle inventory. Hammerhead’s parent company and main manufacturing facility is in Shanghai, China; some assembly is done in the Texas location, from which the company distributes its products across North America. Polaris acquired Hammerhead in 2015, but Hammerhead continues to operate as a standalone business unit.

Hammerhead specializes in utility vehicles, like the R-150 light-duty, 2WD UTV, and go karts like the GTS 150, GTS 150 Platinum, MudHead 208R, and HH Torpedo. All of these vehicles have a suggested retail price of under $3,600, which makes them a solid option for tighter budgets. The R-150 has a hard top, dump bed, headlights, turn signals, a tail light, and a dual three point seat belt for safety. And while the GTS 150 and GTS 150 Platinum are designed for older drivers, the HH Torpedo is designed for kids that are six years old and up and the MudHead 208R still fits in the youth category but is a step up from the Torpedo.
