The real question is: are you ready? Engineering LIGHTWEIGHT SUBFRAME: The refined subframe takes weight reduction to a level, shedding nearly a full pound compared to the previous generation. HONDA SELECTABLE TORQUE CONTROL: Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) improves rear wheel traction by optimizing torque delivery and reducing slip. It allows you to have complete control over your bike's performance with customizable options. These include five power curves, ten levels of torque control, and three settings for engine braking and wheelie control. SLIPPER CLUTCH: Using tech from our MotoGP machines, a specially designed slipper clutch reduces deceleration wheel-hop and provides seamless power delivery, effortless gear shifting, and a feather-light clutch feel. EFFICIENT RADIATOR DESIGN: The sleek radiator design boasts a narrow profile for improved aerodynamics, nearly an inch slimmer than our previous-generation model. Meanwhile, a high-density core ensures uncompromised cooling efficiency. Handling RACE-BRED ERGONOMICS: Improved aerodynamics make it easier for the rider to tuck in while also reducing the width by over 24 mm at the tank/seat junction and upper cowl compared to the previous generation. HONDA ELECTRONIC STEERING DAMPER: Our Honda Electronic Steering Damper (HESD) goes beyond typical steering dampers. Sensing handlebar-deflection velocity and vehicle speed to adjust dynamically, the HESD ensures exceptional low-speed maneuverability while maintaining excellent high-speed stability. Performance HIGH-PERFORMANCE FOUR-CYLINDER ENGINE: This flat-plane inline-four engine roars to life with high-compression pistons, boasting 10 more horsepower than the previous generation. DUAL-STAGE FUEL INJECTION: Dual injectors in each cylinder ensure exceptional low and high rpm capabilities, while refined EFI settings enhance throttle response, especially at smaller openings, for a smoother but still exhilarating ride. THROTTLE-BY-WIRE: Another notable advancement from Honda's MotoGP program, the Double-R features throttle-by-wire, which integrates with the Honda Selectable Torque Control system to offer three engine power-delivery modes, two of which are fully customizable.
