2026 Honda Dax 125 A ’70s icon, reimagined for today. The 2026 Dax 125 pairs retro lines with modern tech: the fuel-injected 124cc air-cooled single used across most of the miniMOTO lineup, electric start, standard front-wheel ABS, and seating for two—because great rides are better shared. Lightweight, nimble, and now available in Pearl Black, the Dax delivers new-school riding ease without giving up the original’s old-school charm. Convenience PLUSH SEAT: Long, banana seats were the thing in 1970, and for good reasons: they give you a plush ride and room for a passenger, too. This holds every bit as true today. FLIP-UP SEAT: The seat flips up to reveal the fuel filler cap. A locking seat function uses the ignition key and keeps everything secure. LOW SEAT HEIGHT: Whether flat-footing it into a parking space or just stopping at a traffic light, the low 30.6-inch seat and light weight are a big plus. EASY TO PARK: Because of its small size, parking in the city is easy and winter storage is simple. There is always space for a Dax 125! Engineering FUEL CAPACITY: Got a small fuel budget? This bike will make it look gigantic. With a 1.0-gallon tank and incredible fuel efficiency, every fill-up will take you farther than you ever thought possible. SEMI-AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION: The four-speed transmission has no clutch—all you do is push up or down on the heel-toe shift lever. It’s easy, fun, and gives you control over gear choice. Handling STANDARD ABS: Our standard front-wheel Anti-Lock Braking System helps you ride confidently in less-than-ideal conditions, such as wet pavement or compromised road surfaces. FRONT SUSPENSION: One major upgrade over the original Dax is the inverted hydraulic front fork, which provides better control, confidence, and road feedback. TWIN REAR SHOCKS: Twin rear shocks preserve a strong retro look while offering modern damping. Paired with wide 12-inch tires, they ensure a smooth ride even on the roughest surfaces. WIDE TIRES: The oversized 12-inch tires not only help give you a smooth ride but also perform better on choppy pavement. 12-INCH WHEELS: Tough, durable cast wheels and wide tires are perfect for city riding. HYDRAULIC DISC BRAKES: Hydraulic disc brakes (220mm front and 190mm rear) give you superior stopping power. Performance 124CC FUEL-INJECTED ENGINE: Despite its small size, it features the same 124cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine found in our latest Grom, delivering outstanding performance and reliability. UPSWEPT EXHAUST: The high exhaust system pays homage to the original trailbike roots, is super practical, and contributes to the broad powerband. Style HIGH-RISE HANDLEBARS: It may be small, but the high-rise handlebars and long seat make it roomy enough for full-sized adults, no problem. ROUND LED HEADLIGHT: The round headlight may have a retro look, but it also delivers excellent visibility and illumination thanks to its modern LED technology. PRESSED-STEEL FRAME: This is where the Dax gets its name. The long, round, and skinny frame of the original machine reminded people of a wiener dog—a dachshund—or Dax for short. Technology LED LIGHTING PACKAGE: Retro styling is cool. Retro lighting technology—not so much. That’s why you get an all-LED lighting package here: headlight, taillight, turn signals, instruments—the works. MULTI-FUNCTION DIGITAL INSTRUMENTS: The retro-style instrument cluster houses a modern display for the speedometer, odometer, trip meters, fuel gauge, and beam indicator.
