Honda calls its Ruckus a mashup of a scooter, a skateboard, and a mini motorcycle. The 2024 version offers the same minimal bodywork, highlighted by the exposed, step-through tubular-steel rear frame, found on previous editions to give riders an open platform for customization. The new Ruckus is powered by a lightweight 49-cc four-stroke single-cylinder OHC engine and gets approximately 114 mpg. The reliable liquid-cooled engine delivers the power city riders need during a daily commute, as well as quick in-town acceleration. Honda equips the scooter with its V-Matic automatic belt drive transmission, which eliminates the clutch and manual shifting and makes it easy for riders of any skill level to master. An electronic control unit precisely manages the ignition system, alternator regulator, ACG starter, electric fuel pump, and the automatic choke. The instrumentation panel includes an analog speedometer and odometer, as well as indicator lights for fuel, coolant temperature, and low or high beams. The 2024 model is available in Beige or Black color options.

Honda designed the Ruckus with the padded seat at a comfortable height of 29 inches (736 millimeters), and there’s a helmet holder to lock your helmet into place under the seat. For a smooth ride, the Ruckus has a twin-downtube fork front suspension, with 2.2 in. (56 mm) of travel, and a single-side aluminum swingarm with single-shock rear suspension with 2.6 in. (66 mm) of travel. The front and rear drum brakes provide predictable stopping power, and the easy-to-use parking brake ensures the Ruckus stays safely in place when not in use.
