Polaris Announces 2023 Polaris Timbersled Snow Bike Systems Headlined By More Agile ARO 3 Gen 2 Platform
Polaris’ Timbersled snow bike systems are conversion kits you can use to convert your favorite dirt bike to a snow bike. The motor sports company recently unveiled its 2023 Timbersled lineup, including its ARO, RIOT, Youth, and Racing product lines. The highlight of the announcement is the ARO 3’s new Gen 2 suspension platform. ARO 3 is now 12 pounds (5.4 kilograms) lighter than the previous model, thanks to a new single-arm design and a narrow rail system that Polaris says give riders a smoother edge-to-edge transition with less feedback on uneven terrain.
The Gen 2 platform also gives ARO 3 an additional performance boost in deep snow by way of a new track design featuring 3-inch (7.62-centimeter) paddles with a new lug design that Polaris says increases lift and maneuverability.
“Loads Of Fun”
“Timbersled continues to lead the snow bike industry by bringing innovation that delivers immediate response, precise handling and control, and loads of fun in a reliable and durable package,” says John Stockman, vice president and general manager, Polaris Snowmobiles & Timbersled. “This allows consumers to be able to go anywhere they want to go and explore areas of the mountain they never thought possible.”
Trim Level Options
For 2023, Timbersled snow bike systems will be available in three trim levels: PRO, Premium, and Sport. The PRO package comes with Polaris’ new Quick Drive Timbersled (QDT) belt drive and high-performance Fox IBP QS3 shocks. Polaris says QDT reduces driveline inertia by 48%, which translates to quicker, more responsive acceleration, even in deep snow. The Fox shocks come with three quick-select compression settings so riders can easily customize their ride. The Premium trim level from Timbersled features Fox QS3 clicker shocks, which also feature easy three-click compression adjustment. No details are currently available on the Sport trim.
