The 2022 Road Glide ST and Street Glide ST raise the performance level of Harley-Davidson’s hot-rod baggers with the impressive muscle of the Milwaukee-Eight 117 power plant. The V-Twin engine features precision oil and air cooling with a fine-tuned camshaft, high-flow intake, and high-performance exhaust. The end result is an engine that delivers 127 pounds-foot (172 newton-meters) of torque at 3,750 rpm.

Buyers can also opt for dealer-installed Screamin’ Eagle Performance Parts Stage Upgrades to coax even more power from the 117. Both 2022 models also have access to Harley-Davidson’s Cornering Rider Safety Enhancements, a technology package that improves cornering performance using the package’s ABS, traction control, and electronically linked brakes.

Road Glide ST

Harley-Davidson’s Road Glide is easily recognizable with its shark nose fixed fairing, and on the 2022 Road Glide ST, the manufacturer adds a low-profile engine guard and a low-profile dark windshield to accent the aerodynamic trim lines. The black-clad front end also features a stark contrast with the bright pushrod tubes and tappet covers, while the Matte Dark Bronze finishes throughout deliver a cohesive light and dark contrast. Harley-Davidson emphasizes the performance styling with a Heavy Breather intake and forward-facing exposure air cleaner. The ST is available in Vivid Black or Gunship Gray finishes.

Street Glide ST

Harley says the 2022 Street Glide ST is built with the purposeful stance of a Screamin’ Eagle Factory race bike. At a glance this design philosophy is borne out by its trimmed front fender, which gives it a sportier profile, and a move from the extended-length saddlebags of the Street Glide Special to standard-length bags. Similar to the Road Glide ST, the Street Glide ST features a front-facing Heavy Breather intake and contrasting light and dark elements, including Matte Dark Bronze accents. Like the Road Glide ST, the newest Street Glide comes in either Vivid Black or Gunship Gray.
