Harley-Davidson’s Street Bob 114 is a stripped-down version of its lightest-weight Softail with its most powerful engine option, a 94-horsepower (70-kilowatt) Milwaukee-Eight 114 engine. The manufacturer says the two-seat cruiser is ready to customize or ride as-is.
New for the 2022 model year are Annihilator cast-aluminum wheels. The Gloss Black rims take the place of the Street Bob’s traditional laced wheels.
Power For The Street
The Street Bob 114’s Milwaukee-Eight engine has a displacement of 114 cubic inches (1,868 cc). It produces 119 pounds-foot (161 newton-meters) of torque at 3,000 rpm. The motor is fed by electronic sequential port fuel injection and lubricated with a pressurized, dry-sump system with an oil cooler.
A six-speed Cruise Drive transmission translates the Street Bob’s torque into motivation, channeled through a chain primary drive and a belt final drive. The bike has a 3.5-gallon (13.2-liter) fuel tank and an LED headlamp. Its gauges appear on a 2.14-inch LCD display.
Dimensions & Specs
Ready to ride, the Street Bob 114 has a curb weight of 655 pounds (297 kilograms). With a rider aboard, the bike settles to a seat height of 25.8 in. (655 mm) off the pavement. It has a wheelbase of 64.2 in. (1,631 mm). Dunlop manufactures the 100/90B19 front and 150/80B16 rear tires.
The Street Bob’s 49-mm telescopic front fork is a dual-bending valve unit with aluminum fork triple clamps. Its rear suspension uses a coil-over monoshock with a 43-mm stroke. A four-piston brake caliper slows the roll for the single, fixed, 11.8-in. (300-mm) front rotor; a two-piston floating caliper does the same for the 11.5-in. (292-mm) rotor out back. Anti-lock brakes are available.
