Polaris Unveils Limited-Edition 2022 GENERAL XP Troy Lee Designs Edition With Race-Inspired Design
Polaris recently announced an exclusive new special-edition 2022 GENERAL XP featuring the artistry of Troy Lee Designs.
“Troy Lee is a boundary-breaker, carrying his iconic speed-inspired creativity across multiple disciplines and sports, and we’re extremely proud of the partnership we’ve maintained over the years,” says Chris Judson, vice president of RANGER, GENERAL and ATV, Polaris. “The GENERAL XP Troy Lee Designs Edition is perfect for those who want their equipment to not only perform but visibly reflect their passion on a different level, whether they’re shuttling mountain bike runs, building trails, or exploring new territory.”
Limited-Edition Options
Polaris will only make 700 of the General XP Troy Lee Designs Edition UTV, available in both two- (the GENERAL XP 1000) and four-seat (the GENERAL XP 4 1000) models. The Troy Lee Designs’ look features non-metallic colors against silver race stripes, contrasted against stealth black on the chassis. Other artistic touches include retro numbering, speed flairs, and a painted bumper. Each unit is uniquely identified with a number displayed on a brushed-aluminum badge.
I’m really stoked to be involved in this project, as the Polaris GENERAL speaks to my passion for innovation and performance,” says Troy Lee. “I love working on limited-edition projects, and Polaris has been a great creative partner. I can’t wait to see how the public reacts to the design of this machine.”
Off-Road Ready
Polaris equips the limited-edition UTVs with some high-end features to let riders show off the Troy Lee aesthetic on any terrain. Just a few of the key additions include Polaris’ RIDE COMMAND infotainment system with GPS navigation and support for waypoints, so riders can plot out a route and follow it when not in range of a cell signal. If riding in a group of RIDE COMMAND vehicles, riders can also communicate using group texts without the need for cell service. The Troy Lee Design models also feature the Lock & Ride Rear Bed Rack from Rhino-Rack that frees up cab space and lets riders carry more gear, tools, and other off-road necessities. An 11-inch (28-centimeter) Pro Armor light bar, installed on the front bumper, improves visibility in low-light conditions to extend ride time.
