Honda Offering FourTrax Rancher ATV In 8 Trim Levels For Model Year 2022
As one of the most popular models in Honda’s ATV lineup, the FourTrax Rancher is typically available in a wide variety of configurations to fit an operators’ exact needs. The same is true for model year 2022 where Honda provides eight distinct trim levels. Just a few configuration features include the automatic Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT), Electric Shift Program (ESP), Independent Rear Suspension (IRS), Electric Power Steering (EPS), and TraxLok switchable two-wheel/four-wheel drive.
Common Features
All 2022 Honda FourTrax Rancher ATVs feature electronic fuel injection, and the Honda Programmed Fuel Injection features an oxygen sensor to let the ATV adjust fuel mapping to riding conditions. To help you transport gear for work or play, all FourTrax Ranchers include a front utility compartment and rugged front and rear racks that work with Honda’s Pro-Connect accessories.
Independent Rear Suspension
Of the 2022 trim levels, only the FourTrax Rancher 4x4 Automatic DCT IRS and FourTrax Rancher Automatic DCT IRS EPS feature the independent rear suspension. IRS provides riders with more than 8 inches (20.3 centimeters) of travel and 9 in. (22.9 cm) of clearance. Honda says IRS also improves tire contract with the ground, resulting in better traction and a smoother ride over rough terrain.
Transmission Options
Honda’s Automatic DCT upshifts and downshifts for riders, while the ESP system offers push-button shifting and a manual transmission. On the 2022 lineup, three models support both Honda’s DCT and ESP, while the FourTrax Rancher 4x4 EPS features just the push-button shifting. The remaining four models use a manual transmission with a foot shift for the automatic clutch.
