RIOT Velocity & AR03 Velocity Highlight Timbersled’s 2021 Model Year Snow Bike Lineup

Timbersled, a Polaris-owned brand and developer of the Timbersled System that enables converting a dirt bike for riding in the snow via kits featuring a front ski and rear track system, has announced its 2021 model year snow bike lineup, which it says “continues to push the envelope” for novices and experienced riders. The lineup is highlighted by the introduction of the RIOT Velocity and AR03 Velocity systems, which Timbersled says will introduce Walker Evans Velocity shock technology and performance from Walkers Evans Racing to the snow bike market for the first time. The 2021 lineup also features new RIOT S and ARO S systems and the all-new 120 SX that’s purpose-built for racetrack action.

“The Ultimate Riding Experience”

Timbersled says it developed the RIOT Velocity and ARO3 Velocity “in pursuit of the ultimate riding experience.” The bikes’ all-new Walker Evans Velocity shocks are described as “an ultra-premium, high-performance snow bike design” that provide superior feel and bottom-out resistance via a position-sensitive needle and tuned remote reservoir design. Further, Timbersled says high- and low-speed compression adjustment enables fine-tuning of the shocks for any terrain.

The ARO S and RIOT S systems, meanwhile, feature a 3-inch (7.62-centimeter) lower height seat than the ARO and RIOT models to improve handling. Timbersled says their high-efficiency suspension design “puts more power to the snow,” making it ideal for 255 cc dirt bikes. Elsewhere, Timbersled points to the success of the factory race team-exclusive 120R inspiring the 120SX, a 2021 system in Polaris’ SnowCheck Exclusive family of snow bikes featuring factory customizations. The 120SX offers a narrow, lightweight chassis with FOX race series international bypass shocks, which Timbersled says provide “a cutting-edge foundation for dirt bike riders to race all year long.”

Timbersled says other systems in its 2021 model year lineup will include the RIOT 120, RIOT LE, RIOT S LE, ARO 129, ARO 129 LE, ARO 3, ARO 137 LE, and Timbersled Ripper.
