Honda’s TRX250X Is Rugged, Reliable & Beginner-Friendly
Honda touts its TRX250X as the perfect entry into the world of off-road powersports. The sport ATV features Honda’s SportClutch, which makes it easy to come to a stop without stalling. And as riders gain more confidence, they can manually override SportClutch for full control when situations require it. Honda also says the TRX250X’s agile chassis and predictable cornering help riders of all skill levels operate the ATV on rough terrain.
Capable Drivetrain
The TRX250X delivers power efficiently thanks to its 229-cc engine’s direct driveshaft alignment with the rear wheels. For smooth operation, Honda equips the five-speed transmission with sport-riding ratios, and the ATV’s broad powerband is assisted by the two-value cylinder-head design with performance-optimized valve timings. The TRX250X has a convenient electric starter, and Honda says the sport ATV operates reliably in a wide range of temperatures thanks to its high-efficiency oil cooler, which supplements the 2-quart capacity wet sump.
Comfort For Recreational Riders
Built around a steel chassis and an independent double wishbone suspension, the TRX250X gives riders stable support. It also gamely absorbs bumps with 27-millimeter front shocks and 32-mm rear shocks with 5.7-inches of travel. Honda says the ATV’s lightweight aluminum wheels reduce unspring weight for better handling. Maxxis Razr Vantage tires (22x7-10 on the front and 22x10-9 on the rear) with a knobby tread pattern, meanwhile, deliver sure-footed traction in all conditions.
For 2022, Honda offers the TRX250X in Black, Reactor Blue, and Magenta colors. On MotorSportsUniverse.com, you’ll wide a variety of new and used Honda motor sports vehicles for sale, including an ever-changing selection of Honda ATVs.
