Honda Reveals 2021 Updates For Gold Wing Touring Motorcycle Range
Honda recently unveiled updates coming to the 2021 iteration of its Gold Wing series of touring motorcycles in an update that also included news about its 2021 CRF300L and CRF300L Rally dual-sport motorcycles. Launching in February, the 2021 Gold Wing features a 61-liter (16-gallon) top trunk, which is an increase of 11 L (2.9 gal) over the previous model. Honda says this new truck “easily accepts two full-face helmets.”
Other upgrades include a taller and more comfortable backrest for the passenger seat, which also has a cover intended to look like suede and piping for added color contrast, 45-watt speakers with automatic volume adjustment, and XM radio, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay support. Honda also made all of the rear turn signals red to create a more uniform design. The Gold Wing, depending on the exact model, is available in Candy Ardent Red, Deep Pearl Gray, or Metallic Black.
“Highly Requested” Updates
“Honda listens to its customers, a fact that is highlighted in our latest new-model announcement,” says Lee Edmunds, senior manager of Powersports Marketing for American Honda. “In the case of the Gold Wing and our smallest street-legal CRF models, the 2021 iterations reflect improvements that were highly requested by people who ride them every day, and the motorcycles are better as a result. We look forward to customers getting the chance to experience the updates themselves.”
