Honda To Add Android Auto Compatibility To Current-Model Gold Wing Motorcycles In Mid-June
Honda Gold Wing touring motorcycles will now come standard with Android Auto compatibility, making it possible to connect smartphones with Android 5.0 or later using the Android Auto app. The company plans to bring the service to “current-model” Gold Wings in mid-June, allowing riders to listen to music, make phone calls, and check text messages when parked or while riding by using a Bluetooth headset. The Gold Wing features Apple CarPlay integration, as well.
Android Auto Details
Android Auto offers motorcyclists a way to keep in touch with friends and family or listen to music safely while out on the road. Rather than taking out the smartphone to check messages or pick an album, riders can use Google Assistant and voice commands to keep both hands on the handlebars at all times.
